The Loretta Smith for Portland City Council campaign today announced two additional legislative endorsements: State Sen. Elizabeth Steiner Hayward and Rep. Jeff Reardon.

“Loretta is a proven leader and gets things done,” said Sen. Steiner Hayward. “We need her at City Hall to help make Portland work better for the entire community, especially for those often left behind.”

“As a former teacher, I know that Loretta’s dedication to help young people is making a tremendous difference,” said Rep. Reardon. “By expanding Head Start, working to help underserved students graduate from high school and creating thousands of summer jobs for our young people, it sets them on a path to future success.”
